​

angel of nature: angels who possess the capability to care for and protect nature

​

angel of power: angels who possess the capability to fight

​

angel of teaching: angels who possess the capability to teach and learn

fallen claps of thunder: a sound heard when the fallen travel to and from Hell; can impair the hearing of humans

fallen forces: a term used to describe Satan and his army of fallen angels and demons

Hall of Law: a structure located in Middle Heaven that contains all heavenly laws; one of the stolen objects was placed here

Head of Council: a designation given to Metatron, which signifies he is the lead of the Council of Archangels

Head Seraphim: a designation given to Seraphiel, which signifies she is the highest angelic authority

Heaven’s governors: designation for type of angelic duties in the Second Choir

​

Heaven’s messengers: designation for type of angelic duties in the Third Choir

​

Heavenly Gates: an entrance located in High Heaven that leads to another heavenly realm

​

heavenly light: a type of energy that comes from angels

​

Hellfire: a mixture of heavenly light and divine light that is lethal to almost everyone and everything; the type of fire that burns in Hell; Satan’s punishment

​

Hellhounds: dogs in Hell that guard caves between cities

​

High Heaven: a place where the Seraphim, Cherubim, and Thrones reside

​

holy bloodline: a living descendant of Jesus and Mary Magdalene

​

holy water: sanctified and purified water that is lethal to the fallen

​

holy water grenade: clear glass balls filled with holy water that explode on impact

​

Horn of Assembly: a long gold horn used to call Archangels on Earth

​

incarnation: a person meant to represent a deity

​

inferos: a Latin word, meaning Hell; the fallen must place a hand to the ground and say this word in order to travel back to Hell

​

Laze: 7th city in Hell run by Belphegor; all spirits who succumbed to laziness reside here

​

leader of the army: a designation given to Michael, which signifies he is in charge of the heavenly army

​

light energy: a pure substance that is lethal to humans, angels, and the fallen, otherwise known as light matter

​

light matter: a pure substance that is lethal to humans, angels, and the fallen, otherwise known as light energy

​

light weapon: a weapon that has been created from divine light and sanctified in light matter; lethal to humans, angels, and the fallen

​

Low Heaven: a place where the Principalities, Archangels, and Angels reside

​

Lust: 6th city in Hell run by Asmodeus; all spirits who succumbed to lust reside here

​

Metatron’s Cube: a formation of circles linked together; Metatron created it, and it is the placement required for the Union of the Spheres

​

MetroCard: a New York City public transportation pass

​

Middle Heaven: a place where the Dominions, Virtues, and Powers reside

​

Misery: located in the 9th cavern of Hell; a place where all spirits must complete their sentence of torment until they can move to a city; all spirits who succumbed to anger remain here eternally

Modern Wonders of the World: locations around the globe from the modern world; many are not necessarily modern but are popular tourist sites presently; these locations are used to hide the spheres

Natural Wonders of the World: locations around the globe that are natural phenomena; these locations are used to hide the gemstone keys

necessary evil: the notion that evil was intentionally created by God

Novice: the lowest classification for a Sacrarium member; taught rudimentary information and prepared for their oath taking; a member must remain at this level for five years to determine their dedication and trustworthiness before they take their oath

Operation Pure Form: the secret experiment the Nephilim are conducting to achieve the untainted genetics of the Watchers

portals: divine light that has the ability to transport things; made by angels of art with God’s permission

The Forge: the place in High Heaven where all divine objects are made

The Holy Trinity Home for Disadvantaged Youth: orphanage where Jordan grew up with Sophia and Dane, more commonly known as Holy Trinity

​

The Keys: nickname for the classic keys and the gemstone keys

​

The Nephilim: half-human, half-angel beings

​

The Pit: a dark void that spans throughout Hell and is sometimes used as punishment by Satan

​

The Royal City: a nickname for Elysium

​

The Sentinel: a person employed by the Nephilim that commits illegal acts
