angel of art: angels who possess the capability to create artistic works or inventions

angel of healing: angels who possess the capability to heal

angel of music: angels who possess the capability to play any musical instrument

angel of nature: angels who possess the capability to care for and protect nature

angel of power: angels who possess the capability to fight

angel of teaching: angels who possess the capability to teach and learn

angel of the home: angels who possess the capability to nurture and care for the home

angelic script: language of angels that is mainly written

Angels: ranked 9 out of 9 classifications in the Celestial Hierarchy; part of the Third Choir, known as Heaven’s messengers; they reside in Low Heaven, and their duties are to act as guardian angels

anointing oil: holy oil used to rub on the body for ceremonial purposes

Archangels: ranked 8 out of 9 classifications in the Celestial Hierarchy; part of the Third Choir, known as Heaven’s messengers; they reside in Low Heaven, and their duties are to watch and protect humankind

astrological constellations: 12 (formerly 13) star signs, otherwise known as the zodiac; members of the Council of Archangels represent each sign

barriers: divine light that has the ability to barricade things; made by angels of art with God’s permission

Beta: the second classification for a Sacrarium member; given covert duties and aware of almost all confidential information; has already taken oath to protect the holy bloodline

castle: structure in High Heaven where the Seraphim, Cherubim, and Thrones reside

cathedrals: two structures in Low Heaven where the Principalities and Angels reside

celestial energy: holy energy emitted by anything divine; usually undetectable to most humans

Celestial Hierarchy: classification system in Heaven that organizes different types of angels and their duties

Celtic tree astrology: similar to astrological constellations, but based on trees and nature instead of stars; members of the Council of Archangels represent each sign

Cherubim: ranked 2 out of 9 classifications in the Celestial Hierarchy; part of the First Choir, known as Heaven’s counselors; they reside in High Heaven, and their duties are to provide input on decisions made by God and relay messages to the Second Choir

circle of vocation: a grouping system for angels in the Third Choir that determines their skill set; there are seven circles of vocation in total

classic key: a metal key that was hidden at the Ancient Wonders of the World; this key is needed for the Union of the Spheres, and each member on the Council of Archangels has one

Council of Angels: group of Angels appointed by God to serve on the council; implemented for order

Council of Archangels: group of Archangels appointed by God to serve on the council; implemented for order; 12 members in total (formerly 13)

Council of Cherubim: group of Cherubim appointed by God to serve on the council; implemented for order

Council of Dominions: group of Dominions appointed by God to serve on the council; implemented for order

Council of Principalities: group of Principalities appointed by God to serve on the council; implemented for order

dark beings: humans that are infected with dark matter but are still alive

dark energy: an evil substance that can infect and pollute humans, otherwise known as dark matter; also lethal to angels and the fallen

dark matter: an evil substance that can infect and kill humans, otherwise known as dark energy; also lethal to angels and the fallen

dark weapon: a weapon that has been created from Hellfire and sanctified in dark matter; lethal to humans, angels, and the fallen

demon cash: currency in Hell

demons: humans that were turned into dark beings who are now deceased

divine light: a type of energy that comes from God

divine markings: another name for angel tattoos

divine wisdoms: all of the knowledge contained in Heaven

Dominions: ranked 4 out of 9 classifications in the Celestial Hierarchy; part of the Second Choir, known as Heaven’s governors; they reside in Middle Heaven, and their duties are to uphold laws and relay messages to the Third Choir

Eden: Garden of Eden; created by God and located on Earth

Elysium: 1st city in Hell ruled by Satan, otherwise known as the Royal City; fallen angels reside here

Envy: 3rd city in Hell run by Leviathan; all spirits who succumbed to envy reside here

fallen claps of thunder: a sound heard when the fallen travel to and from Hell; can impair the hearing of humans

fallen forces: a term used to describe Satan and his army of fallen angels and demons

First Choir: a hierarchical designation; contains highest level of angels, which are the Seraphim, Cherubim, and Thrones

fleur-de-lis: a three-pronged symbol associated with the Sacrarium

flint: a tool used to produce a spark in order to ignite a flame

fourteenth sphere: a gemstone sphere whose existence is unknown

free will: the ability to act and make decisions on your own

Gamma: the third classification for a Sacrarium member; only called upon when needed and informed on a need-to-know basis; has already taken oath to protect the holy bloodline

gemstone key: a gemstone that is hidden at Natural Wonders of the World; this key is needed for the Union of the Spheres, and each member on the Council of Archangels has one

Geneloom: a genetic testing company operated by the Nephilim

Giant Heart Healing Center: a rehab facility operated by the Nephilim that works with Geneloom

Gluttony: 4th city in Hell run by Beelzebub; all spirits who succumbed to gluttony reside here

Greed: 5th city in Hell run by Mammon; all spirits who succumbed to greed reside here

Hall of Law: a structure located in Middle Heaven that contains all heavenly laws; one of the stolen objects was placed here

halls: three structures in Middle Heaven where the Dominions, Virtues, and Powers reside

Head of Council: a designation given to Metatron, which signifies he is the lead of the Council of Archangels

Head Seraphim: a designation given to Seraphiel, which signifies she is the highest angelic authority

Heaven’s counselors: designation for type of angelic duties in the First Choir

Heaven’s governors: designation for type of angelic duties in the Second Choir

Heaven’s messengers: designation for type of angelic duties in the Third Choir

Heavenly Gates: an entrance located in High Heaven that leads to another heavenly realm

heavenly light: a type of energy that comes from angels

Hellfire: a mixture of heavenly light and divine light that is lethal to almost everyone and everything; the type of fire that burns in Hell; Satan’s punishment

Hellhounds: dogs in Hell that guard caves between cities

High Heaven: a place where the Seraphim, Cherubim, and Thrones reside

holy bloodline: a living descendant of Jesus and Mary Magdalene

holy water: sanctified and purified water that is lethal to the fallen

holy water grenade: clear glass balls filled with holy water that explode on impact

Horn of Assembly: a long gold horn used to call Archangels on Earth

incarnation: a person meant to represent a deity

inferos: a Latin word, meaning Hell; the fallen must place a hand to the ground and say this word in order to travel back to Hell

Laze: 7th city in Hell run by Belphegor; all spirits who succumbed to laziness reside here

leader of the army: a designation given to Michael, which signifies he is in charge of the heavenly army

light energy: a pure substance that is lethal to humans, angels, and the fallen, otherwise known as light matter

light matter: a pure substance that is lethal to humans, angels, and the fallen, otherwise known as light energy

light weapon: a weapon that has been created from divine light and sanctified in light matter; lethal to humans, angels, and the fallen

Low Heaven: a place where the Principalities, Archangels, and Angels reside

Lust: 6th city in Hell run by Asmodeus; all spirits who succumbed to lust reside here

Metatron’s Cube: a formation of circles linked together; Metatron created it, and it is the placement required for the Union of the Spheres

MetroCard: a New York City public transportation pass

Middle Heaven: a place where the Dominions, Virtues, and Powers reside

Misery: located in the 9th cavern of Hell; a place where all spirits must complete their sentence of torment until they can move to a city; all spirits who succumbed to anger remain here eternally

Modern Wonders of the World: locations around the globe from the modern world; many are not necessarily modern but are popular tourist sites presently; these locations are used to hide the spheres

Natural Wonders of the World: locations around the globe that are natural phenomena; these locations are used to hide the gemstone keys

necessary evil: the notion that evil was intentionally created by God

Novice: the lowest classification for a Sacrarium member; taught rudimentary information and prepared for their oath taking; a member must remain at this level for five years to determine their dedication and trustworthiness before they take their oath

Operation Pure Form: the secret experiment the Nephilim are conducting to achieve the untainted genetics of the Watchers

portals: divine light that has the ability to transport things; made by angels of art with God’s permission

Powers: ranked 6 out of 9 classifications in the Celestial Hierarchy; part of the Second Choir, known as Heaven’s governors; they reside in Middle Heaven, and their duties are to uphold laws and relay messages to the Third Choir

Pride: 2nd city in Hell run by Lucifer; all spirits who succumbed to pride reside here

Principalities: ranked 7 out of 9 classifications in the Celestial Hierarchy; part of the Third Choir, known as Heaven’s messengers; they reside in Low Heaven, and their duties are to interact with members and institutions of the church

Pure Form: a term used by the Nephilim to signify the untainted genetics of the Watchers

Rivers of Hell: located in the 8th cavern of Hell; 5 rivers in total (The River of Woe, The River of Lamentation, The River of Forgetfulness, The River of Fire, and The River of Hatred); the waters tempt spirits into their depths, and punishment is eternal

Sacrarium: a secret society meant to protect the holy bloodline

Sacred Heart High School: the high school that Jordan attended

sanctuaries: seven structures in Low Heaven each designated for a circle of vocation

Sanctuary of Art: a structure in Low Heaven that houses the angels of art; the symbol to represent this circle of vocation is an artist’s palette

Sanctuary of Healing: a structure in Low Heaven that houses the angels of healing; the symbol to represent this circle of vocation is a caduceus

Sovereign’s Scepter: a scepter that holds the Sovereign’s Orb, and is needed for the Union of the Spheres

storage chest: large rectangular cases that the angels travel with

terra: a Latin word, meaning Earth; the fallen must place a hand on a portal and say this word, along with their intended location, in order to travel to Earth

The Book of Prophecies: a book from Heaven that contains prophecies and other divine wisdoms; it was also an item that went missing from Heaven

The Castle Key: an item that went missing from Heaven, and was needed to open the castle tower in High Heaven

The Flood: a biblical story that tells how God sent a massive storm to wipe out the Earth, so that He could create it again

The Forge: the place in High Heaven where all divine objects are made

The Holy Trinity Home for Disadvantaged Youth: orphanage where Jordan grew up with Sophia and Dane, more commonly known as Holy Trinity

The Keys: nickname for the classic keys and the gemstone keys

The Nephilim: half-human, half-angel beings

The Pit: a dark void that spans throughout Hell and is sometimes used as punishment by Satan

The Royal City: a nickname for Elysium

The Sentinel: a person employed by the Nephilim that commits illegal acts

The Six: Satan’s fallen angels that execute his bidding (Lucifer, Leviathan, Beelzebub, Mammon, Asmodeus, and Belphegor)

The Tree of Knowledge: located in Eden, and otherwise known as the Tree of Good and Evil

The Triune: a group of angels meant to protect the holy bloodline and anything related to it; they work with the Sacrarium

The Union of the Spheres: the process of combining thirteen spheres into one in order to make the Sovereign’s Orb; the ceremony gives the wielder immense power

The Watchers: a group of angels sent from Heaven to Earth in order to teach humans; they fell in love with mortal women, and produced the Nephilim; they are now considered fallen angels

The Wonders: a nickname for the Ancient, Natural, and Modern Wonders of the World

Third Choir: hierarchical designation; contains lowest level of angels, which are the Principalities, Archangels, and Angels

thirteen spheres: round stones the size of a grapefruit; 13 in total; they are needed for the Union of the Spheres, and each member on the Council of Archangels has one

trinity: a Christian notion meant to signify the three parts of God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)

Virtues: ranked 5 out of 9 classification in the Celestial Hierarchy; part of the Second Choir, known as Heaven’s governors; they reside in Middle Heaven, and their duties are to uphold laws and relay messages to the Third Choir

Watch Tower: three structures in Low Heaven; one contains the Council of Archangels, and the other two are where Archangels stand watch over the world; the Archangels also reside in these structures
