My previous post was a more formal introduction about me, so I figured I would also include some fun facts.

(In some instances, I couldn't possibly pick one. There are so many favorites that these lists could go on forever, but here's a taste of what I'm interested in.)


Favorite Color: Pink or Purple (can't choose!)

Favorite Food: Pasta, although French Fries are a close second

Favorite Candy: Nonpareils

Favorite Sport: Football

Favorite Movies: Pride & Prejudice (the one with Keira Knightley), The Devil Wears Prada, Sixteen Candles, Dirty Dancing, The Greatest Showman, Stardust, Practical Magic, anything Marvel and DC related, anything Disney princesses related

Favorite TV Shows: The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Gilmore Girls, Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, The Tudors, Agents of Shield, Daredevil, The Punisher, Runaways

Favorite Theatrical Shows: Phantom of the Opera, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, The King and I, Hairspray, Mamma Mia, Something Rotten

Favorite Music Artists: Lindsey Stirling, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, and I listen to a lot of soundtrack music from movies and musicals too

Favorite Books: Red Queen Series, Harry Potter Series, Shades of Magic Series, The Last Magician Series, The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin, and the list goes on and on and on

Favorite Authors: Victoria Aveyard, V.E. Schwab, Deborah Harkness, Lisa Maxwell, (haven't read their books yet, but I am still inspired by Leigh Bardugo, Cassandra Clare, Sarah J. Maas, Kendare Blake, Tomi Adeyemi, Alison Weir, Markus Zusak), and so many, many more

What would be your personal motto?

  • Everything Happens For a Reason

What publications do you regularly read?

  • The Writer Magazine, Writer's Digest, Publishers Weekly

What fictional place would you most like to go to?

  • Pemberley

What kind of art do you enjoy most?

  • I am a decorative arts enthusiast, and have fallen in love with Renaissance and Baroque artwork.

What skill would you like to master?

  • Playing the piano or violin

What did you think you would grow out of but haven’t?

  • Eating PB&J sandwiches

What pets did you have while you were growing up?

  • TONS. I had a dog, a rabbit, two hamsters, two birds, a hermit crab, and a pigeon all at the same time. I also had a guinea pig at one point. Now, I just have a dog. I'll always have a dog since I'm a dog lover. (I like cats too, but I'm allergic to them.)

What do you wish you knew more about?

  • Eastern cultures and mythologies

What are you addicted to?

  • Collecting Funko Pops

Who are your classic literary influences?

  • Dante

  • John Milton

  • William Blake (I am more inspired by his artwork, but still appreciate his poetry)
